Diving in Playa del Carmen at Jardines Reef
Jardines Reef is probably one of the most beautiful of our shallow dive sites. With little to no current, this typical fringing reef offers relaxed and easy diving.
We explore along a low 1-1.5-meter-high wall that features small caves and shelters for many creatures. In addition to lobsters, scorpionfish, trumpetfish and flamingo tongues, large schools of jacks and grunts as well as barracudas can be found here.
Eagle rays and big green moray eels are easy to find at this beautiful reef in Playa del Carmen. With a little luck, you might even come across turtles or bull sharks in the winter months.
With a maximum depth of 12.5 meters, this dive site is ideal for both beginners and photographers.
