Sometimes you just do not find a buddy&#8230; And what are you to do then?<\/p>\n<p>Should you just wait until the opportunity to make these circumstances, where your poised to dive&#8230;. reappear?<\/p>\n<p>No way! Self-Reliant Diving is the ability to safely plan dives and respond safely to emergencies and emerging issues on your own and utilising the skills which this course provides. The course is an introduction to self-responsible diving. This system is well established, safe and provides an enjoyable shared experience. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" lang=\"en\">Rather, it should complement the buddy system and be used in circumstances where you have a situation solo diving is the plan. The diver must know the special and unique risks of solo diving.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Planning and calculation of dives using the necessary gas supply (reserve volume: for example, one-third rule)<\/li>\n<li>Equipment, configuration and with the necessary additional equipment,<\/li>\n<li>Determination of Surface-Air-Consumption (SAC)<\/li>\n<li>Valve exercises, freeflow regulators<\/li>\n<li>Handling a stage or pony bottle<\/li>\n<li>further skills to solidify the solodive skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem scenarios and their avoidance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Standard equipment of a solo diver:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A surface marking buoy or lifting bag with min. 30m leash<\/li>\n<li>An independent breathing gas supply be it a stage or pony bottle.<\/li>\n<li>Additional depth gauge<\/li>\n<li>Additional surface signaling means. Visually and acoustically<\/li>\n<li>cutting tool<\/li>\n<li>Writing board or Wetnotes incl.
