It\u2019s the first step for the complete PADI Tec Deep Diver course. It contains 4 dives, one of which is in the pool for practical training.<\/p>\n<p>The training that is done during the <a href=\"https:\/\/deepdivemexico.com\/eng\/dsat-tec-40\/\">Tec 40<\/a> course can be added to the \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deepdivemexico.com\/eng\/dsat-tec-45\/\">Tec 45<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/deepdivemexico.com\/eng\/tec-50\/\">Tec50<\/a> courses.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">During the Tec 40 course<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">You use regular scuba equipment with some additions to better handle the conditions in technical diving.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">You use decompression software and dive computers to plan and perform decompression dives with a maximum depth of 40 meters\/130 feet.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">You use one tank of decompression gas with 50% nitrogen (EANx 50) to be more conservative during decompression procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Course material<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You need the PADI Tec Deep Diver Crew-Pak which covers the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Terms and expressions of technical diving<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Emergency procedures<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">How to handle different tanks with different gas mixes<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Planning of the different gas mixes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Crew-Pak contains a manual, a DVD, a checklist and a slate for dive planning. This Tec Deep Diver Crew-Pak is also required for the Tec 50 course.
