Diving in Playa Del Carmen
In Playa del Carmen, a night dive is an outstanding experience that reveals the underwater world in a completely new light. As the sun sets, night falls, and many animals that avoid the harbors during the day to sleep in the sunshine become visible.
Night Dives in Playa Del Carmen
Diving in Playa del Carmen is an unforgettable experience. Even experienced divers are consistently inspired by it.
Every night, the reef transforms into a different world. You glide with your flashlight through a mystical scene, revealing colors that would not be visible during the day.
Some fish sleep, while others only emerge at night.
Moray eels, octopuses, crabs, and lobsters often emerge from their caves, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot a turtle taking a nap.
The best chance to see bioluminescence is during the summer months – tiny creatures that glow in the water and look like fireflies.
Warm, pleasant water, great visibility, and easy reefs that are very easy to explore even in the dark.
One of our experienced guides will provide a detailed briefing on night diving beforehand, including all hand and light signals.
All special procedures will also be reviewed.
