What is an Instructor Internship?
The SDI Instructor Internship is the direct path from experienced Divemaster to certified dive instructor – practical, intensive, and personally mentored.
As part of the Internship, you will be prepared step-by-step for the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor.
You will deepen your knowledge in teaching methodology, course organization, standards, and dive theory.
At the same time, you will gain real teaching experience by assisting with real courses and conducting your own theory and practical sessions.
An ideal format for all who want to not just pass, but truly teach.
3 Different Options
1. Standard Guest Participation - 3,000 Euros
You have the opportunity to participate in the Instructor Internship Program by paying a one-time fee of 3,000 Euros.
With this option, you can simply complete the course as a guest.
This standard participation gives you the freedom to go through the curriculum at your own pace and deeply engage with the course content.
2. Prepaid Option – 3,000 Euros with Monthly Refund
With this option, you pay the total amount of 3,000 Euros in advance and then receive a portion of it back each month.
During your six-month participation in the Instructor Internship Program, you will then receive a refund of 500 Euros each month.
By paying in advance, you not only gain financial benefits, but can also complete the Instructor Course right at the beginning.
In this way, you will gain valuable experience and skills throughout the entire duration of the program.
3. Work for 6 Months - Culminating in an Instructor Course
Those looking for training with a strong practical focus can actively work at the dive center during the first six months with this option.
By working with us, you not only gain practical experience but also get to know the processes and structures of the dive operation in detail.
The program concludes with the Instructor Course – the final step to complete your training and kickstart your career as a fully qualified dive instructor.
