The Cenote Nohoch
Cenote Nohoch is an absolutely fascinating cave system, one of the largest known, and holds many surprises when you embark on an underwater discovery tour. In the crystal-clear water, you truly immerse yourself in a world where light rays dance and bizarre limestone formations can be found.
First Dive
On the first dive, you usually explore along the main passage, where you’ll find a bit of everything: mighty corridors and impressive halls. Wherever sunbeams filter through small openings in the rock, the massive stalactites and stalagmites gleam. Here, you truly realize one thing: how enormous the cave system is.
Second Dive
On the second dive, you usually venture into one of the small side passages, which are often much more densely adorned: with delicate dripstones, intricate structures, and occasionally through tight, small openings. If you position the lighting correctly, you can witness almost surreal plays of color that make this underwater world truly incredible.
Hidden World
A visit to Cenote Nohoch with 2 dives is a journey into a quiet, hidden, and secluded world—a world that is beautiful, challenging, and truly awe-inspiring.
